PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

Commercial Project - Make-A-Wish® America National HQ

Name of project – 'Wall Of Hands' Video Wall

Location – Phoenix, AZ

Completion Date – Oct 2018

About the project – New and Updated AV Equipment in the Work Café

From Sabrina Ott, Manager, Technical Services, Make-A-Wish® America

Thanks to the generosity of Ned & Suzie Allen we are making upgrades to the technology in the Work Café which will soon be home to The Chip Allen Theater. What began as a tragedy for one family turned into a legacy of giving in support to courageous children fighting critical illnesses. When longtime Make-A-Wish® supporters Suzie and Ned Allen lost their grandson Chip in 2003, they were devastated. But despair quickly turned into determination when they established a memorial fund to honor Chip and give kids hope and strength when they need it most. Since then, Suzie and Ned have been involved on the National Board – both serving six-year terms – and on the National Board Alumni Association. The Chip Allen Theater will be named in memory of their grandson Chip. As a result of their gift, we are in the process of installing additional video cameras and speakers, a 3X3 video wall featuring nine 55-inch 1080 p LED-back lit LCD displays,  and a touch panel with intuitive and simple to use interface for audio/visual control.  These upgrades will provide a better experience for all employees including those who are virtual.

This was such a great win for Make-A-Wish America! It has allowed us to streamline participants via Zoom/Go To Meeting and join us at the National office to share our 'Monday Missions' for our wish child or monthly staff meetings. We wouldn’t have been able to do this with the previous equipment we had in place. Now we are able to join Chapters for their wish kid stories as well.

Any partners Immedia worked with (construction, lighting, etc) – Jokake Construction

TECH UPDATES - Crestron DM NVX

DM NVX is a reliable, cost saving and fast network distributing audio and video technology!

Tech updates aren't meant to be a sales pitch. We aren't trying to 'convince you' to buy something you don't need. Immedia is all about giving every client the maximum result for your goal and every goal is unique. The Crestron DM NVX simply does more video, more network video and more scalable video than before without the need for a video router. This product encodes / decodes on the fly as a start or end point with multiple inputs / outputs over the same network.

The reason you want this is to give your organization a complete, infinitely scalable solution that also transports audio, USB, and control. With the new 'Pixel Perfect Processing' technology, it is also the only network solution that delivers a flawless image every time. Crestron DM NVX runs on a dedicated AV network, with fully-managed access to, or isolation from, the customer's LAN or the Internet.

Unlike other AV network products, Crestron DM NVX Series does not need an expensive custom 10 GB infrastructure and offers more features at a price similar to competing products that have the least and do not guarantee this level of security. If you want the best of the best, the cutting edge, 'state of the art' and give that WOW factor to your clients, this is it!
