To provide an appropriate digital technology environment for the new headquarters of global health and wellness giant Isagenix, connecting the company to its worldwide employee and customer base. The premier corporate location in the long-awaited Rivulon development in Gilbert, Arizona, Isagenix’s mandate was “first class” from start to finish. The design intent was to welcome home thousands of employees, guests and board members in a branded, iconic facility housing R&D, product development, test labs, and video production as well as all corporate functions.
Immedia was commissioned to devise a conceptual design for a fully digital audio/visual and technology solution that both reflected the company’s values and provided the impact and functionality required by multiple departments. Without advance knowledge or specification, Immedia’s concept included custom applications for nearly every aspect the client desired. Some of the features included:
The focus of the Auditorium is the 41’ curved rear-projection screen with content provided by dual edge-blended projectors. The room contains video and audio conferencing, signal transport to the Video Production Studio, lighting and room control via a Crestron iPad interface driven by Immedia’s custom programming solution. The 50-person Training Center features individual wireless microphones, an educator’s podium linked to the main AV system for 360-recording of presentations, video and audio conferencing, and a xx” suspended projection screen. The Leaders Lounge & Patio provides a large indoor/outdoor meeting area with multiple xx displays and background music/audio feed. The clean aesthetic of the 24-person Executive Boardroom benefits from a projector and AC/document camera concealed within the ceiling, a 7.2 audio system, all of which are controlled by a Crestron iPad interface with custom programming. The Associates Training Room is configured as a computer lab with a forward facilitator’s station with two side-by-side 80” displays. All 24 workstations have dedicated mini-towers with full network connectivity.
The dynamic, 4x4 videowall in the Entrance Lobby consists of 9x16” displays and three interactive kiosks that control the digital signage content in this pre-staging area for the auditorium. The War Room is outfitted with a Barco Clickshare system for collaboration, video and audio conferencing, and two 70” displays for presentation viewing. All 14 Conference Rooms throughout the facility feature 70’ displays, network connectivity plus video and audio conferencing to ensure uniform quality and functionality. The gourmet Dining Cafe is fitted with multiple digital signage displays and a full audio system for background music/feed. Perhaps the most unusual - and demanding - location in the facility is the Video Production Studio. A fully-outfitted professional edit, assembly and distribution facility, the Studio receives content from the Lecture Hall, the Training Center and the Executive Boardroom. Here the content can be pushed to 7 translation audio booths for dubbing and/or real-time translation. Immedia provided the 2-way signal transport system comprised of a Crestron switch and Biamp DSPs.
