Through the use of current technology, NRG creates custom solutions for their customers to create a viable future by supplying reliable, cleaner power and energy that improves people’s lives.
Immedia, being the world-class technology integrators that they are were brought in to help prepare for and fabricate a plan revolving around NRG’s growth and future functionality. The client described a need for two large conference rooms with video and audio conferencing and several smaller huddle rooms. The two large conference rooms were given both audio and video conferencing capabilities – each fitted with Canon 5000 lumen projectors, Crestron control, and Revo Labs microphones for audio conferencing. The smaller conference rooms (AKA huddle rooms) contained audio conferencing capabilities. All the rooms within NRG were created to allow for no less than two input sources and the largest rooms include up to fourteen. This gave NRG much more freedom and capabilities within their conference rooms.
However, the largest portion of Immedia’s collaboration with NRG came from their NOC (Network Operations Center). Immedia configured a 27 display tiled video wall within NRG’s NOC, which gave them extensive capabilities. Through the use of the RGB Spectrum Galileo processor, the 27 displays were all connected to separate sources giving NRG the ability to display one large video wall using all displays or display something different on each one individually. The final 28th display is hung from the ceiling on a sliding display track that can be easily accessed and in fact, can be slid on the track in exchange for any one of the other 27 screens on the video wall. Through their commitment to world-class and innovative excellence on display throughout this journey with NRG, Immedia was granted the Samsungs Smart Signage Award for Excellence in 2015.
